Terms of Use

Effective 26 August 2026

The service

DockMaster is software for managing marina service work: work orders, dispatch, crew time tracking, parts, and invoicing. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you enter and for the work you bill from them.

Subscription

Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of that period. Manage or cancel it in your device's Settings under your Apple Account. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited if you buy a subscription during the trial.

If a subscription lapses

Your marina keeps a short grace period, after which the workspace becomes read-only. Existing records remain readable and are not deleted; new work orders, tickets, and time entries are paused until the subscription is renewed.

Acceptable use

Do not use DockMaster unlawfully, and do not upload content you have no right to share. Keep your sign-in credentials to yourself; a marina administrator can remove any user.

Your marina's records

The records you enter belong to your marina, not to us. We store and process them only to run the service for you. The marina administrator controls who may see them and can remove any user, or delete the marina and its records entirely, from inside the app.

Keeping your account secure

The recovery key shown when a marina is created is the only way to restore administrator access if the password is forgotten. We cannot reproduce it. Store it somewhere safe and away from the phone.

Invoices and payments between you and your customers

Invoices you raise are agreements between your marina and your customer. Card payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe's terms, and we are not a party to them. We do not collect your customers' money and never handle card details.

Disclaimer and liability

DockMaster is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits or lost records. You remain responsible for the accuracy of the records you keep and for retaining anything your business is legally required to retain. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law that cannot be limited.

Changes

We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and continued use is acceptance.
